I have known about this game for 12 years now, playing it on and off since then without much care. Once I beat Dracula, I leave and do something else. Only now, no longer a boy but a man, do I realize that beating Dracula was not the ending. Only now have I seen the true ending, after which Dracula is defeated by Sonic, and then Green Sonic, and then Yellow Sonic and then Red Sonic.
Truly, this game has depth where a young me could not have seen. I wasn't mature enough to understand, but now I am.
